Hair Care During Quarantine
If you’re like us, then your favorite restaurant and or club temporarily closing is a big hit to all of those establishments. Plus, all those styles you had saved up for girl’s night.

What we’ve discovered is that, even though we can’t look fab for a night out, we can get our roots conditioned and moisturized for in the house.

Below are some hair care tips and styles that will keep your hair healthy and protected.

Hair Masks

Hair Masks for Hair Care During Quarantine

Hair masks run the gamut when it comes to ingredients that can give your hair some TLC. The ingredients that may work best for you will depend on your hair type and the condition of your hair and scalp.

Any mask with the following ingredients will benefit healthy hair and scalp: bananas, honey, olive oil, eggs, avocado oil, and coconut oil.

Deep Conditioner

Deep Conditioner

Deep conditioning penetrates the hair shaft and helps to restore the natural shine to the hair. Over time, your hair can accumulate build-up from the weather and from different products. Deep conditioning your hair helps to smooth the shaft of your hair and gain back its natural shine.

Also, deep conditioning helps treated hair and adds moisture to dry hair.

Hot Oil Treatment

Hot Oil Treatment

Hot oil treatments are typically applied before shampooing your hair. Any oil of your choice is heated slightly and applied directly to the scalp to fight dandruff and severely dry hair. Hot oil treatments can be applied to dry or slightly damp hair. Furthermore, once the hot oil is applied, sitting under a hooded dryer or using a plastic conditioning cap for 15 – 20 minutes will allow the oil to penetrate deeper. With this method you will still be able to obtain soft and shiny hair even though hot oil treatments focus more on the scalp.

If this time indoors doesn’t prompt you to dive into haircare , that’s ok. When all else fails, just wrap it up.
