Darker hair with lowlights and longer ‘dos are obvious staples when it comes to autumn hair. However, one of the most essential accessories has to be the standard baseball cap. Although it’s perfect for a grab-and-go situation, you can also elevate your look with chic hairstyles. Cute baseball cap hairstyles can be easily done at home using additional basic hair accessories.
Cute Baseball Cap Hairstyles
Cooler weather is upon us and we don’t always want to style our hair every time with leave home. Particularly if we’re just making a run to the grocers or picking up kids from school. So, we asked professional stylist Cecelia Johnson about her favorite ways to dress up a baseball hat.
01. Fluffy Low Bun
The fluffy low bun help keep your hair off your neck. To achieve the look, bubble a small section of your hair through the open space in the back of the cap. Next, use the remaining hair to create a low ponytail. And finally, writ it around the bubbled part for a fuller look. Also, use a soft crunchy versus a tight elastic. Oftentimes, tight elastic will pull out hair strands and breakage.
02. Loose Ponytail
If you’re looking for a quick hairdo, this loose ponytail should do the trick. First, create a loose ponytail and secure it in two places with soft accessory like a matching scrunchy. Use the crunchy just after the large loops and the next crunchy toward the end of the pony. By the way, don’t braid your hair all the way to the end.
03. Tucked Hair with Claw Clip
Another cute baseball cap hairstyle is holding all your hair up with a sturdy claw clip. Create a bubbled section in the hat opening, then twist the remaining hair up and around before securing.
04. Looped Pigtail Braids
Try the loose ponytail idea as above, but with two braids on either side versus a singular idea. This is great for medium and long hair lengths and switches things up from a standard pony or pigtail situation.
